IGS (Information Global Service)

Hello. I'm Marcus. Are you also known as smsgenny from insertcredit.com? Chances are, you are, based on the amount of activities you have performed on this site, and some other info. If you are, see my post on the topic "IGS interview" following this link: [1]. Please tell me what you know about this IGS. I'm anxious to hear... Marcus2 14:59, 16 February 2009 (CST)

Some leads

Hello, long time no see. I have next to no time to dig in ROM dumps nowadays, but I'm uploading my credits lists in my namespace here. Use them as you like. Here are some things I've been investigating before, but haven't been able to follow up:

Star force (MSX):
MSX STAR FORCE Ver 1.0 ----- 85/11/05 -- MADE BY YASUSHI MITAMURA -- SHINJUKU JAPAN TEL 03-260-4622 -SE

Slider (GG):
What has Mitamura been doing in the meantime?
He also turns up on Hudson's FC Doraemon game. CRV 05:59, 4 August 2009 (CDT)

Then there's CCS, who worked for Pack-in-video. I seem to remember that they were a group of students, I think from Waseda university.

One last thing is Minamimachi bugyôsho (南町奉行所). They work with animation, but have also worked on some games. What is not mentioned in their history is Trumpboy I & II (GB), but they're mentioned in that game. --Idrougge 15:41, 3 August 2009 (CDT)

ITL and Natsume

Apparently, they both worked together on Abadox (NES) and Puchi Carat (GBC). Either that, or we both have contradicting evidence. I wanted to know: are these two companies really related to each other? -- USAJAP1 18:14, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking now that ITL had nothing to do with Abadox. It appears to be produced by the group I've mentioned recently that did some of these other Natsume games, with development subcontracted to another group that ITL might have also been subcontracting to. I have the credits to Puchi Carat here. ITL is mentioned. CRV 05:18, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

TOSE Co., Ltd.

You were the one who originally added screenshots of their pre-2000 games list. However, the screenshots have since gone down, and the corporate reports of 2000 and 2001 do not seem to mention any games. Can you provide that original source again? Prime Blue 15:28, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry. I haven't fixed the links on the Tose entry. http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/File:Tose2000_new.jpg http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/File:Tose2001_new.jpg CRV 16:30, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, fixed. Prime Blue 14:57, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

I made some suggestions on Talk:Interview:Hitoshi Akashi. Not sure if you have the article on your watchlist. Cheers -- 15:32, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Zoids: Chuuou Tairiku no Tatakai (MSX2) Credits

MSX2 version Credit is identical to Famicon version. (MSX2 version ROM address: 1bf60 ~ 1bff0). --Ita 06:10, 21 April 2011 (CDT)

Hello CRV. Wanna ask you a question about two soccer games. But first of all... you can read Japanese, right? :)

I can use an online translator. Please ask. CRV 15:42, 26 March 2012 (CDT)
So I guess you can't read at all? The games are J. League Excite Stage 95 and J. League Excite Stage 96 (developed by A-Max), the SPC Soundtrack (for SNESMusic) is almost complete (tagging and etc), however the composer info is missing. I recorded the 2 ending videos (with game credits).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEOBrDicixw (starting at minute 2:37)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRKEcI_4OE0 (starting at minute 0:50)
Are those names familiar to you? KungFuFurby said that from of all those names, there must be the name of some music composer.. We appreciate if you can help.
I can't read the names. '95 doesn't have sound credits, and '96 doesn't have development credits. CRV 05:01, 27 March 2012 (CDT)
When I looked at J.League Excite Stage '94, which had English credits, the development staff ended up in the "Special Thanks" section. J.League Excite Stage '96 most likely has some development staff, though they're not specific... and both of them have development staff that can in theory be found in the Special Thanks section. Sometimes games don't mention development staff at all (Mahou Poi Poi Poitto! is one of them), other times they're not given specific roles, and sometimes some of them are even omitted. KungFuFurby 09:27, 28 March 2012 (CDT)
I would like to know more about this developer... Eh, there is a "travel agency" with the same name: here. Etc.
A-Max is "エーマックス株式会社." There's an entry here. CRV 09:06, 29 March 2012 (CDT)
yes CRV, but there's not much info.
Looks like mostly Epoch staff under "Special Thanks" on '94. CRV 09:13, 30 March 2012 (CDT)

GDRI-012 Will you add a company and what country it's going to be?

Kan's / Logos Panic

Hi CRV. I was googling stuff about "Logos Panic" (game produced by Kan's) and... check this: [2] ... section "ユタカ(合併前)" ... do you know about this "Popy" thing? The English wiki-page: [3]

Never heard of it before. I guess Yutaka was renamed Popy in 2003? CRV 08:48, 13 April 2012 (CDT)

Captain Tsubasa J

CRV, do you know who developed this game? http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/575680-captain-tsubasa-j/credit

BEC. CRV 05:45, 24 May 2012 (CDT)
Thanks. And how about the PS game Captain Tsubasa J: Get In The Tomorrow?
I'm seeing Tose, but I really don't know. CRV 06:06, 25 May 2012 (CDT)
Btw, the Winky Soft page has some errors I think. I corrected one, the other (see the talk page) I'm not sure.

Pandora Box

Hey CRV, Can you add Pandora Box on GDRI, please?

Tasmania Story

CRV, do you know who developed the Game Boy title Tasmania Story? have a nice weekend.

I don't know. Sorry. CRV 04:58, 16 July 2012 (CDT)
Oh ok. one more question, how about this one? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Bishin . This "cheats" site says Athena, can you confirm it? http://cheats.cheatgenius.com/snes-cheats/bishin-densetsu-zoku-the-legend-of-bishin-zoku-cheats/
Recorded the game ending, just in case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do19pCbQw2I
Don't know, but I'm pretty sure it's not Athena. CRV 08:28, 17 July 2012 (CDT)
Yes, the game is not listed on their official site. Just don't know why the other guys added Athena. o_O

Fish Dude

CRV, do you know about this GB game Fish Dude? This page says: "developer: Salio, ANex". what's ANex? do you know something? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AtIJBoOATMHydEhrM3VkM3BaUkJoeFpqUTl5eHBiX1E&type=view&gid=0&f=true&sortcolid=-1&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=5000 (btw i'm sorry if i'm "bugging" you with so many questions lol.)

I've seen the text string before. I don't know anything about ANex, though. CRV 08:16, 20 July 2012 (CDT)

Toxic Crusaders

Hey there. Just thought I'd let you know I got in touch with the producer of Toxic Crusaders on NES. He confirmed that the game was in fact developed by Tose. He unfortunately does not remember the composer's real name which I am looking for. The game says "A.Shinji" which I think is Shinji Amagishi but I'm not positive on that. Doommaster1994 09:44, 03 August 2012 (PDT)

Can he confirm the developers of any other Bandai games? CRV 15:30, 3 August 2012 (CDT)
Sincere apologies. I didn't know you replied until looking on your page today. Which games do you want me to ask him about specifically? I think I'm still in touch with him. I can give you his name through a PM as well. I just don't want to do it publicly.--Doommaster1994 (talk) 05:15, 23 April 2014 (CEST)

Slam Dunk

CRV, was this game developed by TOSE? http://www.gamefaqs.com/saturn/575524-slam-dunk/images/box-15650

BEC. CRV 16:30, 24 August 2012 (CDT)
BEC again? thanks for the info. :) P.S. maybe you can create the BEC page in the near future.

Yūyu no Quiz de GO! GO!

CRV, this game was developed by who, do you know something? The credits are here: http://superfamicom.org/info/yuuyu-no-quiz-de-go-go

I don't know. CRV (talk) 08:50, 29 August 2012 (CDT)

Strider Info on Five with Akira Sakuma

Fantastic! You... are the man.

I dunno about you, but I find it amazing that game staff are allowed to hang onto old resources like this. Example: Isuke still has the original design docs for Strider in his personal files. Scion, LSCM Founder 14:33, 18 January 2013 (CST)

Combination Pro Soccer (Kuusoukagaku)

Hey CRV, can you check this page (Aoki Densetsu Shoot!): ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/シュート! ...... the "ゲーム版" section, it mentions the PS game Combination Pro Soccer ...... "上記のゲームソフト以外にも、プレイステーション版『コンビネーションプロサッカー Jリーグの監督になって世界をめざせ!』(発売元:アクセラ、価格:5,800円)に『シュート!』の選手16名がユース代表として登場している。" ...... but I'm not sure if I understand the sentence correctly at 100%. can you take a look? btw, I just added the ending + credits video (Credits Repository‎). --Hydao (talk) 04:48, 21 February 2013 (CST)

I'm not sure what it says. CRV (talk) 09:02, 21 February 2013 (CST)

R: Rock'n Riders (PS)

I added the credits here, if you are interested, take a look. :) http://smg.photobucket.com/user/chromossomax/library/R%20-%20Rock%20n%20Riders%20_%20PlayStation OR http://chromossomax.livejournal.com/79919.html --Hydao (talk) 06:20, 3 April 2013 (CEST)

CRV, right now you are located in Germany, correct? I uploaded these 2 videos of Rock'n Riders, and it says it is blocked in, ermm, Germany. can you confirm it? Thanks.

--Hydao (talk) 04:24, 11 April 2013 (CEST)

No, I'm in the US. CRV (talk) 15:36, 11 April 2013 (CEST)
Oh ok, sorry. Don't remember why but I always thought that you were from Germany. --Hydao (talk) 02:40, 12 April 2013 (CEST)

Can you guess that mystery company from GDRI-015?, I can't really find it.

Hi CRV, do you know about these guys? It seems that they also composed music for:

Can't find decent info about their work in the Japanese video gaming industry. --Hydao (talk) 18:01, 10 September 2013 (CEST)

Never heard of them before. CRV (talk) 22:35, 10 September 2013 (CEST)
Hm ok. I asked someone on YouTube and his reply was (copy/paste):
"Hey :)
I never heard of this game before, but it seems they are the same. Jeffrey and Robert Pfeifer are two brothers born in Los Angeles. They created the music library "Pfeifer Broz. Music", which is a collection of their compositions. Their tracks are only for backgrounds in advertising, movie trailers and TV Shows. Some of their tracks were used in the Trailers for Harry Potter and Pirates Of The Caribbean.
They are very famous for their loud and powerful orchestral and choral tracks, but they have some less famous albums, which contain rock and country with the same style like the tracks you posted. But none of their older compositions has a real singer.
Rob & Jeff hided their music from the public, a lot of trailer music libaries do that. Rob died in 2009 and Pfeifer Broz Music ended. But Jeffrey Pfeifer has a new project with Evan Frankfort. Together they founded the PF Music Group and also create music for advertising.
Remove the spaces of this link and you will be able to listen to their tracks.
pfmusicgroup. sourceaudio. com /#!explorer
Don't try to make an account and download their music, this function is only for TV Channels or professional Movie Trailer Editors. Try to check out the Rock-Albums, maybe there`s something interesting for you. (Southern Rock, Blues could be interesting)."
P.S. I found Hikaru Kanematsu and David Chester FB (maybe I'll ask them):

Tryrush Deppy (SS)

Just a question, is the set of credits (Tryrush Deppy) complete? http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/Credits_Repository_Archive_01 . Regards. --Hydao (talk) 21:33, 5 April 2014 (CEST)

They should be. CRV (talk) 22:40, 5 April 2014 (CEST)
So... Hiroshi Ozaki is the Director, Game Planner, Object Designer and 3D Model Designer. Kenji Nishimura is the character designer + 3 roles, Toshimichi Uchida x 5 roles and so on, is that correct? Just wanted to be 100% sure. Btw, those "Ultraman: Kaijuu Teikoku no Gyakushuu (FDS)" should be removed I guess. --Hydao (talk) 15:14, 6 April 2014 (CEST)
Yes on the roles. Deleted the Ultraman credits. CRV (talk) 16:13, 6 April 2014 (CEST)

Victory Goal 96

Do you know the two (or three?) missing names for these credits? http://segaretro.org/Victory_Goal_%2796 Here is the Ending video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf2Wjume1iU The names are way too blurry. --Hydao (talk) 13:35, 15 April 2014 (CEST)

Forget it, I found the names here: http://www13.atwiki.jp/game_staff/pages/658.html :) --Hydao (talk) 14:29, 15 April 2014 (CEST)

Well would ya lookie what i found. --Dimitri (talk) 05:21, 15 April 2017 (CEST)
