NEW Corporation (株式会社ニュー) was a software development company based in Kashiwa, Chiba. It was established March 15, 1991, and entered the games business in 1993. The company was initially headed by Yasuyuki Narushima (成島康之). Yoshitaka Morishige (森重善隆) succeeded him as CEO, presumably after E-DESK closed down around 2005. New declared bankruptcy on April 18, 2013.

Numerous subsidiaries and "group companies" were started between 2000 and 2004:

  • E-DESK Corporation (イー・デスク株式会社). Web development and network services company. Established February 29, 2000 and headed by Yoshitaka Morishige (森重善隆).
  • THINK & FEEL Inc. (株式会社シンク・アンド・フィール). Development studio. Established September 1, 2002 and headed by Katsuyoshi Yamaki (山木勝義).
  • Goshow, Inc. (有限会社娯匠). Development studio specializing in art and animation. Established January 14, 2003 and headed by Masafumi Horiuchi (堀内雅史).
  • Grand Prix, inc. (有限会社グランプリ). Development studio. Established March 11, 2003 and headed by Ryuta Aoyagi (青柳龍太).
  • ERTAIN Corporation (株式会社アーテイン). Publishing company. Established February 13, 2004 and headed by NEW CEO Yasuyuki Narushima (成島康之).
  • Ertain B.V. European publishing office based in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands. Established 2004?
  • Tranji Studio (有限会社虎児). Developer, joint venture with Opus. Dates unknown.

Of the above, only Think & Feel and Goshow are still in operation. Rights to most of the New/Ertain catalog are currently owned by Collavier.
