BEC Co., Ltd. (株式会社ベック), AKA Bandai Entertainment Company, was a game development subsidiary of Bandai established in December 1990 as a joint venture between Bandai and Human, with much of the early staff coming from either Human or Human Creative School. It primarily provided game development and CG production services for Bandai and Bandai Group companies such as Yutaka and Banpresto. It also managed much of Bandai's outsource development, and even published a handful of titles itself under the Interbec brand.

After Human's bankruptcy, BEC became a fully-owned subsidiary of Bandai. The company ceased to exist in April 2011 when it was merged into Banpresoft to form the new company B.B.STUDIO. BEC was headed by Eisaku Maniwa (間庭英作) from March 1999 until March 2010, then by Toshihiro Nada (灘俊宏) until the Banpresoft merger in 2011.

In later years, the development staff was divided up into a number of distinct teams within the company, each named after the team leader and with a particular specialty:

  • Tokushima-gumi (徳島組), AKA Team White Dingo. Headed by Masahiko Tokushima (徳島雅彦), previously an artist at A Wave.
  • Namikawa-gumi (浪川組). The largest team, which generally had two projects running concurrently at any time. Headed by Shinji Namikawa (浪川真治).
  • Kanbe-gumi (神戸組). Made up mostly of former F2 staff, specialized in mobile and handheld games. Headed by Akiyoshi Kanbe (神戸秋義).
  • Shibamura-gumi (芝村組), AKA Team Pinguino Verde. Headed by Yuri Shibamura (芝村裕吏), previously a planner at Alfa System.
  • Yokota-gumi (横田組), AKA Team Akaneko. Specialized in multiplayer titles. Headed by Nobuyoshi Yokota (横田延良).
