I forgot you brought up Metal Fangs here. Anyway, according to Manabu Tamura's bio here, he was a founding member. Also, some background on Kenji Shimizu. CRV (talk) 15:51, 23 March 2018 (UTC)

Continuing from the GDRI-010 chatter, I just noticed that Burning Soldier has separate credits for "Hiroshi" Hamagaki, "Hirishi" Hamagaki, and "Takuma" Hamagaki all in different roles (plus a "Kayuri" Hamagaki for good measure). Also, sounds like Tamura also worked at Sega before Genki was established... I wonder if he's "Key" on Vermilion? Seems like basically the entire initial staff came from Sega. --Dimitri (talk) 22:00, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
There's a "kiyo_chan" credited on Dynamite Dux and a "KEY" in the high scores. CRV (talk) 03:22, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
Except Takaharu Mita. I don't know how he got involved. There's a Takuma Hamagaki who's a director at Nonki. Maybe that's his son or something. CRV (talk) 23:14, 23 March 2018 (UTC)

I wonder if Genki was involved with MD Metal Fangs. The credits are quite vague, but they seem to line up with the same Sega AM2 people who worked on Vermilion and Rent a Hero, including the two guys (Tomoharu Kimura and Hiroshi Hamagaki) who left to work for Genki around '91 or '92. Given the release date, it may have been originally done at AM2, taken with them to Genki, then polished off for a release a couple years later. --Dimitri (talk) 19:49, 29 June 2014 (CEST)
