Imageepoch Inc. (株式会社イメージエポック) was a developer and publisher headed by Ryoei Mikage (御影良衛) and based in Minato-ku, Tokyo. It was established as a limited partnership in August 2004, and formally incorporated on June 9, 2005. It was originally only a CG and graphics contractor, but established a full development team in 2006.[1] The company grew quickly, employing more than 120 people in 2011, but business steadily declined in the following years. Reportedly, most of the staff left and the company all but ceased operations following the completion of Stella Glow in late 2014. Associated company Smile Online Game filed for bankruptcy on May 7, 2015, and Imageepoch itself followed suit the following week on May 13th. [2]
