TEC (株式会社テック) was a joint venture of Nintendo and Intelligent Systems established in November 1987 [1] that developed game software for Nintendo systems and development tools. Gunpei Yokoi, then head of Nintendo R&D1, originally proposed the creation of the company. [2] It was merged into Intelligent Systems in March 1997. [3]
