Not to be confused with Brother's software vending service of the same name
Takeru Co., Ltd. (株式会社タケル) was a game publisher and developer based in Taito, Tokyo. [1] Staff included industry veterans Kouichi Yotsui (Strider), Akira Kitamura (Mega Man and Mega Man 2), Shinichi Yoshimoto (Ghouls 'n Ghosts), and Utata Kiyoshi (Metal Storm). Many employees left for Mitchell after the company became financially unstable. [2] Products were published under the Sur Dé Wave (シュールド・ウェーブ) brand.
