Psygnosis South West

One of Psygnosis' satellite studios, located in The Wheelhouse at Bond's Mill in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, England. The original staff consisted of former members of Microprose UK including Simon Gardner [1], who appears to have run the studio for most of its existence. Head programmer Neil Duffield was put in charge during its final months of operation. [2] After it was shut down [3], Acclaim created a new studio called Acclaim Studios Stroud with the ex-Psygnosis staff. [4] (One media outlet at the time reported that Acclaim bought the Stroud studio from Psygnosis. [5]) Acclaim Studios Stroud may have become Acclaim Studios Cheltenham.
