Talk:Software Creations

Double Dragon
Despite what Simon Street's resume says, I believe Software Creations worked on the Genesis port of Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone, not the original. On the back cover of the Genesis DD3, Software Creations are credited for the programming under the copyrights. Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:31, 12 January 2013 (CST)
- After taking a very brief look, I have a feeling they did both. I'll do a somewhat thorough code comparison sometime tomorrow. - Andlabs (talk) 02:07, 13 January 2013 (CST)
- Since Sound Images worked on the first one, I'm willing to believe Software Creations did it. CRV (talk) 06:38, 13 January 2013 (CST)
- I doubt it. DD1 was a relatively accurate conversion of the arcade original (aside for a few off things like the different graphics for the backgrounds and female sprites), whereas DD3 is a pretty fucked up port (missing animation frames, changed button inputs for special moves, poor hit detection, inaccurate character balance, missing music, ect).
