Sunsoft Osaka

Started in June 1990 [1], the Osaka branch of Sunsoft mostly worked on games for the western market during a period when Sunsoft in Japan had otherwise ceased to do so.

It was closed down in 1994 but programmer Michio Okasaka (岡坂道夫) formed the independent Santaclaus in its place, contracting with Sunsoft for a number of years afterwards.
