OT Sports, L.L.C. (aka OverTime Sports; formed in Delaware on September 21, 1995) was originally a joint venture of Spectrum Holobyte, which owned MicroProse, and Capital Cities/ABC, which owned the American television network ABC, set up to develop sports games. [1] The company operated in the same building as MicroProse in Hunt Valley, Maryland [2], with staff from MicroProse — specifically, the team behind Ultimate Football. [3]

In May 1996, Spectrum Holobyte sold its half of OT Sports to Capital Cities/ABC, which by this point had been acquired by Disney. [4] Disney shut down the company in January 1998. [5] (Director of Product Development [6] Doug Whatley filed the paperwork to incorporate BreakAway Games on the same day he closed up the studio. [7])
