Technopop, Inc. was started by Randel Reiss [1] and incorporated on September 11, 1990. [2] It was the first independent American developer for the Sega Genesis and created most of the system's early development tools. [3] The company was dissolved in 2000 and all its assets were transferred to Reiss, the company's president and single remaining shareholder. [4]
