I found the following string in Gdleen just now: GDLEEN COPYRIGHT 1991 SETA/ARTEC/JORUDAN

Seta's the publisher, Jorudan is a software developer known to have done games founded in 1979, and Artec is...a Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer?

Maybe Jorudan is our mystery developer? --Dimitri 17:23, 3 September 2007 (CDT)

Jorudan definately developed Gdleen. They also did Firetrap for DataEast, it seems. Given the similarities between Fire Trap and Crazy Climber, it would not surprise me if they did that too. They also developed Captain Silver (arcade). --mukimuki@RS 08:02, 23 July 2009 (CDT)
