Softie, Inc. was a software company based in Phoenix, Arizona. It developed many video game versions of television game shows and acted as the licensing agent for Mark Goodson Productions (Family Feud) and Merv Griffin Productions (Jeopardy!). [1]

Arnold Zaler was president of Softie. Prosecutors alleged the company was a pyramid scheme and in 1996, Zaler was convicted of 50 counts of fraud. Originally sentenced to 14 years in prison, he was released on parole after six. [2]
