Sanritsu Denki (Sanritsu) is an industrial company established in 1973. In addition to manufacturing and publishing its own video games, it also developed a number of arcade and home games for Sega. This relationship blossomed into a joint venture between the two called SIMS, established on June 12, 1991. Sanritsu game staff went to the new company. SIMS eventually became a subsidiary of Sega. This ended on June 25, 2004, when company president Noboru Machida took over all stock.
