We asked former Sega Midwest Studio artist Jim Rohn for information regarding the defunct Sega division.

I did work at Sega Midwest from December '93 until Jan '95.

There were a lot of confidential, in-house developments that I don't think I can speak about. We did release [an NHL] hockey game while I was there.

Sega Midwest closed in January 1995. Several artists and programmers were offered transfers to Sega offices in other parts of the country. I was one of them, but I stayed in Chicago and worked at Midway Games from 1995-2002.

We would like to thank Mr. Rohn for his time. Rohn is currently a full-time instructor in Columbia College Chicago's Film and Video Department and teaches computer & traditional animation production, storyboarding, and concept development.
