GRC (aka Graphic Research; グラフィックリサーチ) was established on June 8, 1984 and no longer appears to be in business.

It seems much of GRC's early sound team (referred to in numerous games as "Team Hyakumangoku" - presumably named after GRC programmer Yasuyuki "Hyakumangoku" Hamada) left to form game music studio Studio Cliche.

Due to the lack of credits or the ability to look at game code, we are unsure of the extent of GRC's involvement in many of its later games. We do not trust an old version of the GRC website, which lists the company's more recent games. For example, the site mentions Monster Rancher Advance (GBA) and says GRC was involved in planning, programming, graphics, and sound. However, looking at the credits, we can't seem to find a single GRC staffer.

We have added these games to the list below anyway, but they, along with any other games we are unsure about, have been colored red to indicate their uncertain status.

Mobile games have not been included in this entry.
