Iwakura, Aichi, Japan-based Falcon (ファルコン) was established in 1984 and incorporated in December 1988. As of February 2001, Falcon had worked on the following platforms: MSX2 (9 titles), PC-8801 (1), PC-9801 (11), FM-Towns (5), J-3100 (3), X68000 (6), Macintosh (2), Windows (33), X55 (2), PC Engine CD-ROM² (6), PC Engine HuCard (1), Game Boy (6), Game Boy Color (2), Famicom (3), Super Famicom (10), PlayStation (17), PlayStation 2 (1), Game Gear (2), Sega Saturn (10), Dreamcast (9), i-appli (1), LCD (7). [1] It seems GDRI has barely scratched the surface.

Falcon also owns the rights to the puzzle game Soukoban. [2]
