Founded in 1989, Equilibrium is a Sausalito, California-based company involved in the development of automated media processing solutions. In the early 1990s, it was also involved in video game development. The company eventually decided to get out of video games to focus on the DeBabelizer imaging software and laid off most of the game development staff as a result. [1]
