Borta, Inc. (originally Borta and Associates, a proprietorship) was a company in Sterling, Virginia, founded by Ron Borta, formerly of Roklan. Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell was chairman, and former Sega of America president Michael Katz served as a consultant.

In 1995, it was acquired by Aristo International through subsidiary BAIC Acquisition Corp. Borta, Inc. was merged into BAIC Acquisition, the surviving corporation, which was then renamed Borta, Inc. Ron Borta and his wife Leslie Davis stayed on as president and COO respectively for about a year.

MicroLeague Multimedia contracted Borta to do the following games, which were ultimately not developed (at least by Borta). MicroLeague later filed a Demand for Arbitration against Borta, claiming breach of contract. Borta alleged a counterclaim, stating that MicroLeague had abandoned the contract.
