Founded in 1980 as the software development subsidiary of Australian book publisher Melbourne House. Over time, the book publishing business was phased out and the Melbourne House name was eventually sold to Mastertronic. Bought by Infogrames in 2000 and renamed Infogrames Melbourne House.
