From Game Developer Research Institute
TEC was a joint venture of Nintendo and Intelligent Systems established in 1987. [1] It developed game software for Nintendo systems and development tools. [2] Gunpei Yokoi, then head of Nintendo R&D1, originally proposed the creation of the company. It was later merged into Intelligent Systems (1997?). [3]
