Bottom Up (株式会社ボトムアップ) was a publisher and developer started by former Natsume employees. Shigeru Okamoto (岡本茂) was the president. [1] [2]

The company went bankrupt on March 31, 2000. [3] The rights to Golf Shiyouyo and the Bottom Up development team were transferred to Korean game company Softmax, which established a Japanese subsidiary on May 1. (Dreamcast Magazine [Vol. 20, 2000/6/9-16], p. 21) [4]

The sequel, Jet Coaster Dream 2, was supposed to be published by Bottom Up, but the contract with Bimboosoft was terminated following Bottom Up's bankruptcy. [5] Bimboosoft would publish the game itself, with distribution handled by Sega. [6]
