Talk:Shout! Design Works

I'm wondering if the later Ancient titles that Kataru Uchimura and Akitoshi Kawano worked on were as Shout employees. Streets of Rage 2 names them both as Shout staff. Uchimura worked on a whole bunch of Ancient titles after that, but the only one I see anyone else from Shout on is Beyond Oasis with Kawano -- who was still with Shout in 1998 (he's credited on Tokyo Majin Kenpuuchou). Beyond Oasis seems fairly likely that Shout was involved, but I suspect Uchimura actually went to work for Ancient directly around that time. --Dimitri (talk) 22:05, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

I've left off Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuuchou Emaki as it's just a compilation of the first two Tokyo Majin games. There are also GBA, DS, and Wonderswan titles in this series but I've left them off for now as they were presumably outsourced, but I haven't found credits for any of them yet to confirm. Some sources also credit Shout for the Tenshou Gakuen series published by Asmik Ace but this is an unrelated (if suspiciously similar) series developed by Arcadia Project.

Additionally, the first Tokyo Majin game (Kenpuuchou) doesn't seem to have end credits, but there are detailed credits for it on the old Shout website. [1] --Dimitri (talk) 21:00, 14 October 2016 (CEST)
