No one in Japan would have noticed at the time, since the Japanese version of Rygar has a completely different soundtrack for some reason.

This is slightly upsetting privately if it's true. I was wishing throughout playable goblins, but in a neutral faction which could quest for both parties but you wouldn't gain rep as quickly. And the more you want one side the minus the other one likes your preferences. It doesn't make much sense if you are Goblins side with Horde, because to them it's more profitable to sell to perhaps factions. Regardless if these races become playable I'm hoping they can't become Fatality Knights, it doesn't fit with either with this backgrounds.

" they built their entire companies image on the bucks of this one game" "wow is tiedo all-around their bottom line they want attached themselves to an anchor thatsinking" << Things people said, do you know these people mean... Also, you did say Vivendi when you Activision/Blizzard IS Vivendi. Vivendi decides the business model. From what I listen to it sounds an aweful lot like you're indicating WoW will drag them down knowning that they're afraid of now that happening, which Vivendi does not. They will shed A/B and proceed.

I'm almost certain this is Michiharu Hasuya. Reasoning: he is credited as "T. Hasuya" as Rygar composer, and if you listen to other NES sountracks attributed to "T.Hasuya", they sound very much like his work...even Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode uses some of the same waveforms he uses in other games. I've heard others I'm almost positive he's done, like Clash at Demonhead.

Composers for the NES often had very distinct styles, Masaharu "Rezon" Iwata comes to mind.
