Make Software logo, when the company made video games

Make Software, Inc. (株式会社メイクソフトウェア) was an Osaka-based company that made and sold print seal machines (photo booths). It was established in December 1988 and incorporated in November 1989. [1] The company was originally founded as a video game developer, which it was until December 2000. The president was Hiro Yamamoto (山本廣) [2], formerly of Nichibutsu.

Make Software entered the print seal machine market in 1997 during the "purikura boom." Unfortunately, sales and revenue decreased in later years, and the company declared bankruptcy on October 24, 2018. [3] The print seal machine business was transferred to Kaga Devices on December 1, 2018. [4]
