Avit, Inc. (株式会社エイビット) was started by former Technos Japan employees in Niigata City. [1] It was originally established on December 27, 1995, as Audio Video Interactive Technology (株式会社オーディオ・ビデオ・インターラクティブ・テクノロジー) and was renamed Avit on March 21, 1996. [2]
On February 1, 1999, Avit's main office moved from Niigata City to Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, while consumer game development continued in Niigata City. On December 5, 2002, the Niigata City office broke away and became Avit-Niigata. [3] Since then, Avit has been primarily involved with pachinko and pachislot development.
