Nex Entertainment (株式会社ネクスエンタテインメント) is a Japanese development company that has made games for such companies as Sega, Capcom, Takara, and Namco. It was established on September 28, 1992, as Emerge (?) (株式会社エマーグ), a joint venture of Sega and Yomiuri Kikaku (株式会社読売企画).

Emerge (?) became Nextech (株式会社ネクステック) in March 1994. The following month, Cybervision (株式会社サイバービジョン) and Gau Entertainment (有限会社ガウ・エンターテインメント) were acquired.

Nextech became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sega in August 1997. Another Sega subsidiary, Sonic! Software Planning (株式会社ソニック), was merged into Nextech in April 1998.

In November 2003, Nextech underwent an MBO (management buyout) and has since been independent. The company gained its current name in July 2005.
