Aicom Co., Ltd. (株式会社エイコム) was a new company headed by Akio Inoue, who previously ran another company called Aicom that was eventually absorbed into Sammy.

Yumekobo Co., Ltd. (夢工房; lit. "Dream Workshop") was established on August 2, 1996 [1], as a result of investment from SNK and Takara in Aicom. Part of Eleca and Santos were also absorbed. It was dissolved following SNK's bankruptcy.

Yumekobo started out with 80 employees. Takara's Nobuyuki Okude (奥出修之) was originally the head of the company. [2] After about a year, he was replaced with someone from SNK.
