WiZ Co.,Ltd. (株式会社ウィズ). Established in September 1986 by Akihiro Yokoi (横井昭裕), who had previously worked at Bandai. Better known for creating numerous hit toys for Bandai and other manufacturers, including the original Tamagotchi and Digimon virtual pets. Became a fully-owned subsidiary of Bandai in September 2016.
