IGS (Information Global Service)

Hello. I'm Marcus. Are you also known as smsgenny from insertcredit.com? Chances are, you are, based on the amount of activities you have performed on this site, and some other info. If you are, see my post on the topic "IGS interview" following this link: [1]. Please tell me what you know about this IGS. I'm anxious to hear... Marcus2 14:59, 16 February 2009 (CST)

Some leads

Hello, long time no see. I have next to no time to dig in ROM dumps nowadays, but I'm uploading my credits lists in my namespace here. Use them as you like. Here are some things I've been investigating before, but haven't been able to follow up:

Star force (MSX):
-----------
1985 TEHKAN AND HUDSON SOFT
MSX STAR FORCE Ver 1.0 ----- 85/11/05 -- MADE BY YASUSHI MITAMURA -- SHINJUKU JAPAN TEL 03-260-4622 -SE

Slider (GG):
-------
ATTENTION: THIS PROGRAM MADE BY YASUSHI MITAMURA 05/20/1991
.WOW !! 05/20 IS BIRTHDAY !! CONGURATURATIONS !! PLEASE GOOD JOB.( MAKING CHARACTER / PROGRAMING / PRANNING / OTHERS )CALL ME. 03-3413-6861(JAPAN)
What has Mitamura been doing in the meantime?
He also turns up on Hudson's FC Doraemon game. CRV 05:59, 4 August 2009 (CDT)

Then there's CCS, who worked for Pack-in-video. I seem to remember that they were a group of students, I think from Waseda university.

One last thing is Minamimachi bugyôsho (南町奉行所). They work with animation, but have also worked on some games. What is not mentioned in their history is Trumpboy I & II (GB), but they're mentioned in that game. --Idrougge 15:41, 3 August 2009 (CDT)

ITL and Natsume

Apparently, they both worked together on Abadox (NES) and Puchi Carat (GBC). Either that, or we both have contradicting evidence. I wanted to know: are these two companies really related to each other? -- USAJAP1 18:14, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm thinking now that ITL had nothing to do with Abadox. It appears to be produced by the group I've mentioned recently that did some of these other Natsume games, with development subcontracted to another group that ITL might have also been subcontracting to. I have the credits to Puchi Carat here. ITL is mentioned. CRV 05:18, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

TOSE Co., Ltd.

You were the one who originally added screenshots of their pre-2000 games list. However, the screenshots have since gone down, and the corporate reports of 2000 and 2001 do not seem to mention any games. Can you provide that original source again? Prime Blue 15:28, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry. I haven't fixed the links on the Tose entry. http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/File:Tose2000_new.jpg http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index.php/File:Tose2001_new.jpg CRV 16:30, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, fixed. Prime Blue 14:57, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

FYI

I made some suggestions on Talk:Interview:Hitoshi Akashi. Not sure if you have the article on your watchlist. Cheers -- 95.222.121.164 15:32, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Question

Hello CRV. Wanna ask you a question about two soccer games. But first of all... you can read Japanese, right? :)

I can use an online translator. Please ask. CRV 15:42, 26 March 2012 (CDT)
So I guess you can't read at all? The games are J. League Excite Stage 95 and J. League Excite Stage 96 (developed by A-Max), the SPC Soundtrack (for SNESMusic) is almost complete (tagging and etc), however the composer info is missing. I recorded the 2 ending videos (with game credits).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEOBrDicixw (starting at minute 2:37)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRKEcI_4OE0 (starting at minute 0:50)
Are those names familiar to you? KungFuFurby said that from of all those names, there must be the name of some music composer.. We appreciate if you can help.
I can't read the names. '95 doesn't have sound credits, and '96 doesn't have development credits. CRV 05:01, 27 March 2012 (CDT)
When I looked at J.League Excite Stage '94, which had English credits, the development staff ended up in the "Special Thanks" section. J.League Excite Stage '96 most likely has some development staff, though they're not specific... and both of them have development staff that can in theory be found in the Special Thanks section. Sometimes games don't mention development staff at all (Mahou Poi Poi Poitto! is one of them), other times they're not given specific roles, and sometimes some of them are even omitted. KungFuFurby 09:27, 28 March 2012 (CDT)
I would like to know more about this developer... Eh, there is a "travel agency" with the same name: here. Etc.
A-Max is "エーマックス株式会社." There's an entry here. CRV 09:06, 29 March 2012 (CDT)
yes CRV, but there's not much info.
Looks like mostly Epoch staff under "Special Thanks" on '94. CRV 09:13, 30 March 2012 (CDT)

GDRI-012 Will you add a company and what country it's going to be?

Kan's / Logos Panic

Hi CRV. I was googling stuff about "Logos Panic" (game produced by Kan's) and... check this: [2] ... section "ユタカ(合併前)" ... do you know about this "Popy" thing? The English wiki-page: [3]

Never heard of it before. I guess Yutaka was renamed Popy in 2003? CRV 08:48, 13 April 2012 (CDT)

Captain Tsubasa J

CRV, do you know who developed this game? http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/575680-captain-tsubasa-j/credit

BEC. CRV 05:45, 24 May 2012 (CDT)
Thanks. And how about the PS game Captain Tsubasa J: Get In The Tomorrow?
I'm seeing Tose, but I really don't know. CRV 06:06, 25 May 2012 (CDT)
Btw, the Winky Soft page has some errors I think. I corrected one, the other (see the talk page) I'm not sure.

Pandora Box

Hey CRV, Can you add Pandora Box on GDRI, please?

Tasmania Story

CRV, do you know who developed the Game Boy title Tasmania Story? have a nice weekend.

I don't know. Sorry. CRV 04:58, 16 July 2012 (CDT)
Oh ok. one more question, how about this one? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Bishin . This "cheats" site says Athena, can you confirm it? http://cheats.cheatgenius.com/snes-cheats/bishin-densetsu-zoku-the-legend-of-bishin-zoku-cheats/
Recorded the game ending, just in case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do19pCbQw2I
Don't know, but I'm pretty sure it's not Athena. CRV 08:28, 17 July 2012 (CDT)
Yes, the game is not listed on their official site. Just don't know why the other guys added Athena. o_O

Fish Dude

CRV, do you know about this GB game Fish Dude? This page says: "developer: Salio, ANex". what's ANex? do you know something? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AtIJBoOATMHydEhrM3VkM3BaUkJoeFpqUTl5eHBiX1E&type=view&gid=0&f=true&sortcolid=-1&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=5000 (btw i'm sorry if i'm "bugging" you with so many questions lol.)

I've seen the text string before. I don't know anything about ANex, though. CRV 08:16, 20 July 2012 (CDT)

Toxic Crusaders

Hey there. Just thought I'd let you know I got in touch with the producer of Toxic Crusaders on NES. He confirmed that the game was in fact developed by Tose. He unfortunately does not remember the composer's real name which I am looking for. The game says "A.Shinji" which I think is Shinji Amagishi but I'm not positive on that. Doommaster1994 09:44, 03 August 2012 (PDT)

Can he confirm the developers of any other Bandai games? CRV 15:30, 3 August 2012 (CDT)
