Threshold Research Corporation was a company founded by husband-and-wife Randy Pfeiffer and Sandy Pfeiffer. It was incorporated on December 22, 1980, and dissolved on February 9, 1983. Randy was the president.

According to an internal Commodore memo, Threshold Research was "writing a QIX-type game" (platform unknown).
