Hi. A code comparison: the Mega Drive port of Bonanza Bros. has the same program flow (as far as the main loop system goes) and art compression as the three Taito MD games listed here, and I think it also shares a few other functions (I'd have to check again). I don't know how ITL was determined to be the developer for these games (in fact when I first saw Bonanza Bros. had the same main loop as the other Taito games, I thought Taito had made it secretly for Sega). I can provide disassembled code blocks if needed. As far as this goes, I'm going through Taito games to get their credits and see which have similar codebases. This is what I have so far; I can bring that (or some of the information there) here if you'd like - Andlabs 00:12, 10 September 2011 (CDT)

The games are in red, so I haven't confirmed them, but they do have shared staff. As for Buster Douglas, that did come up in either a Toaplan or Santos comparison. It looks like KID might have been involved with Master of Weapon. Opera House did Rastan Saga II. It's on their site, and it was listed here before that (came up in a code comparison). Cyclone System did Cadash and Saint Sword. CRV 06:29, 10 September 2011 (CDT)
OI oops sorry for taking too long to respond =P
Thanks for that. On a side note, with Master of Weapon and Mystical Fighter, how do you know that the latter was KID — shared staff?
Yes, shared staff. CRV 08:53, 7 March 2012 (CST)
I'm not sure if I could help out finding this particular company much short of stumbling across another game written this way by accident (even if you already picked up some code comparisons); I did peek at Arkanoid Returns but the code style is totally different =P - Andlabs 17:31, 6 March 2012 (CST)

Another hand-made comparison turns up Arrow Flash as another match, or at least a partial match! Same main loop style, same art compression (though I have a feeling it's not used for everything this time) and related code... but no shared staff and not as much related code (as far as I can remember). Would you like to see relevant code blocks disassembled? (I wasn't actively looking for another match; I only noticed it when I started looking at Arrow Flash for TCRF on a whim) - Andlabs 20:02, 15 April 2012 (CDT)

I think you're on to something. The producer is "RMS-106," and I noticed Kenichi Hiza has used that as a username. CRV 05:50, 16 April 2012 (CDT)
Another game I'd like to see you figure out is Jewel Master. CRV 09:01, 17 April 2012 (CDT)
No similarity to any of these, however at least the first 1KB of code (main loop, VBlank placement and method) are similar to Mystic Defender and Moonwalker — I'll keep looking until then - Andlabs 09:06, 18 April 2012 (CDT)
I was curious about the developer. It was probably Sega then. CRV 16:59, 18 April 2012 (CDT)

Probably already noted somewhere, but ITL's works list now includes how many games they made for each platform and what genres they were for titles prior to 2003. [1] All titles say "planning, programming, graphics" so titles they only did support development on are probably excluded (or data simply wasn't available when the list was made). Here's the data in case it gets removed at some point:

Bonze Adventure for the PC Engine developed by ITL

Could it be possible that ITL developed the PC Engine port of Bonze Adventure? The staff seems to be pretty much the same as ITL games.

It's already on the list as "Jigoku Meguri". --Dimitri (talk) 06:59, 25 January 2017 (CET)
