How about a comparison of Halley Wars and Clutch Hitter for Game Gear? And time and weather permitting, how about an I.T.L Game Gear comparison? Thank you. CRV (talk) 17:19, 22 May 2017 (CEST)

:Halley Wars x Clutch Hitter didn't turn up anything of interest. No shared code, only some data tables that show up in several dozen other games by various companies.

:I.T.L - I ran SD Gundam x WSB95 and Dunk Kids x Pro Yakyu GG League. Good amount of shared code. Clutch Hitter popped up a few times (only a few strings, so nothing statistically significant) but otherwise nothing that isn't already known to be by them.

:Incidentally, I rewrote the compare tool in Python some months back, so it's much faster than the old Visual Basic version. 8-bit compares take a matter of seconds, while 16-bit (SNES and Genesis) compares are now feasible, though they haven't proven all that fruitful. What takes more time now is actually interpreting the results. --Dimitri (talk) 08:17, 23 May 2017 (CEST)

"Act Japan" might be "外注A" written here. --Ita 12:20, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Code comparison suggests GBC Jeff Gordon XS Racing and J.League Excite Stage Tactics might also be theirs, but I haven't been able to dig up credits to confirm. --Dimitri (talk) 09:20, 9 December 2016 (CET)

Jeff Gordon has no credits, but I'm willing to believe it's by Act Japan. CRV (talk) 01:13, 10 December 2016 (CET)

Halley Wars x Clutch Hitter didn't turn up anything of interest. No shared code, only some data tables that show up in several dozen other games by various companies.
I.T.L - I ran SD Gundam x WSB95 and Dunk Kids x Pro Yakyu GG League. Good amount of shared code. Clutch Hitter popped up a few times (only a few strings, so nothing statistically significant) but otherwise nothing that isn't already known to be by them.
Incidentally, I rewrote the compare tool in Python some months back, so it's much faster than the old Visual Basic version. 8-bit compares take a matter of seconds, while 16-bit (SNES and Genesis) compares are now feasible, though they haven't proven all that fruitful. What takes more time now is actually interpreting the results. --Dimitri (talk) 08:17, 23 May 2017 (CEST)
