Takeru (タケル) was a game publishing and development company started by former Capcom employees Akira Kitamura (Rockman/Mega Man 1 & 2), Shin'ichi Yoshimoto (Daimakaimura/Ghouls'n Ghosts), and Kouichi Yotsui (四井浩一) (Strider Hiryu/Strider). Many Takeru employees left for Mitchell to work on arcade games.

Sur de Wave (シュールド・ウェーブ) (or "Sur Dé Wave." as it is written on the logo) was Takeru's publishing label.

Not to be confused with Brother's Takeru software vending service.
