Takeru (株式会社タケル; not to be confused with Brother's software vending service of the same name) was a development company whose staff included Kouichi Yotsui (Strider), Akira Kitamura (Mega Man and Mega Man 2), Shinichi Yoshimoto (Ghouls 'n Ghosts), and Utata Kiyoshi (Metal Storm). Many employees left for Mitchell after the company became financially unstable. Products were published by Sur De Wave (株式会社シュールドウェーブ). [1]
