Sting logo

Sting Co., Ltd. (株式会社スティング) was established on February 7, 1989, by ex-Compile employees. The company president is former Compile sound person Takeshi Santou (山藤武志). Became a subsidiary of TYO in 2003.

Research Methods: Actual mentions, ROM text, online resources (see Links), shared credits

A note concerning PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 and Super Famicom/Super NES listings: Several games for these systems contain the name "STING" (or some variation thereof) hidden in the ROM. We have also looked at and compared the credits for as many of these games as possible.

Mobile games not included.
