Radical Plan Corporation (株式会社ラディカルプラン) was started in February 1991 by Kou Matsuda (松田康) after leaving Zap. It was based in Kamata, Tokyo. [1]

Radical Plan went under during development of the original Harvest Moon after taking on too many other projects. [2] [3] According to Zap founder Yuichiro Itakura, after Matsuda was forced out as company president, he took the company's cash assets and fled to Fukushima. [4]

Harvest Moon scenario writer Setsuko Miyakoshi and main programmer Tomomi Yamatate proceeded to help finish that game. [5] They were then hired on as part of Victor Interactive Software's second development division, Toybox, where they continued to work on the Harvest Moon franchise. [6]
