Micronics was a contract developer. Its Famicom/NES games are characterized by a distinct lack of coding and design skill, and are often plagued by problems such as jerky scrolling, sprite tearing, and load times.

The Khaos name starts to show up in Super Famicom/Super NES games from 1993 onward. This is either another company started by staff from Micronics or, more likely, a company name change. From what we've seen, there are no games from later than 1992 carrying the Micronics name and no games from earlier than 1993 with the Khaos name.

Note: Most of the Famicom/NES games on this list have no credits, and only a handful mention Micronics by name. An initial list was drafted based on the pause tones and common code issues, and most of that list was later confirmed by code comparison that revealed all games listed here shared sound and system code. Though this is not completely conclusive proof, it implies that the same developer was involved in every case.

The FC game Geimos also shares significant amounts of code with early Micronics titles, but credits "Wixel Corporation" on the title screen. Whether this is an earlier name for Micronics or just the company the programmer worked for previously is unknown.

GDRI attempted to contact M. Tsukada, who worked at Micronics/Khaos, to no avail.
