:<small>Fact: This has been confirmed to have been developed at Santos or Megasoft. [[User:CRV|CRV]]'s theory: It might have been developed by "the old" Santos but was originally cancelled. "The new" Santos (if it was indeed related to "the old" Santos) might have later sold it to "the new" Aicom, assuming the ex-President of "the old" Santos (assuming that's who started "the new" Santos) got to keep Santos' original IP. "The new" Santos and "the new" Aicom clearly had a relationship - Aicom's Akio Inoue is the producer on "the new" Santos' Stahlfeder: Tetsukou Hikuudan (PS) (consult the [[Credits Dump]]), and former "old" Aicom programmer "Terayan" mentions Santos in a post about Aicom. [http://8408.teacup.com/kimama/bbs/167] But then again, "sound creation" is credited to "Megabeat," which could be a play on "Megasoft." Originally called Whiteboard (ホワイトボード). Later renamed Santos (サントス). Became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sega called Megasoft (メガソフト) in December 1991 [1], which was merged into Sega during the production of the two titles listed below.

The President of Megasoft assisted with the establishment of Treasure, which was in the same building. Some people from Megasoft apparently went on to work for Treasure.

Gaibrain was started by former Santos staff.

It appears that Takeshi Tozu, the ex-President of Whiteboard/Santos who was replaced by the aforementioned President of Megasoft at the time of the changeover from Santos to Megasoft, went off and started a new company with the Santos name (similar to the situation with Aicom). This "new" Santos developed and self-published three PlayStation titles and may have done some contract development.
