Make Software logo, when the company made video games

Make Software, Inc. was an Osaka-based company that made and sold print seal machines (photo booths). It was a video game developer until December 2000. The president was Hiro Yamamoto [1], formerly of Nichibutsu. It was originally established in December 1988 and incorporated in November 1989. [2]

Make Software entered the print seal machine market in 1997, during the "purikura boom." Unfortunately, with the proliferation of smartphones, sales decreased in later years, and the company declared bankruptcy on October 24, 2018. [3]
