Just as scientific research can later be proven false, so too can the most noble of video game developer research efforts...
Each day, GDRI's staff starts the work day with the following prayer:
Dear Lord, please guide us this day through the murky waters of game developer research. Though non-believers have spat on us and accused us of heresy, we will hold our heads high as we carry out your work.
