KAZe Co., Ltd. (株式会社カゼ) was established on November 15, 1990. [1] It was headed by Junichiro Kawazoe (河副純一郎), a former company director at record firm and game publisher Meldac. [2]

At some point, KAZe Net was started (perhaps it was originally Live Planning?), which provided various services in the business and entertainment fields such as the development of online games and web site development. [3] KAZe and KAZe Net co-existed, with KAZe focused on developing console games [4] [5], but the latter essentially succeeded the former. (KAZe was still listed as an affiliated company on the English KAZe Net site. [6])

KAZe had an office in Los Angeles, KAZe of America, operated by KAZe producer/production manager Emi Akimoto. [7] [8]
