KAZe Co., Ltd. (株式会社カゼ) was established on February 2, 1987 [1], as Live Planning. [2] It was headed by Junichiro Kawazoe (河副純一郎), a former company director at record firm and game publisher Meldac. [3]
At some point, KAZe Net was started, which provides various services in the business and entertainment fields such as the development of online games and web site development. [4] KAZe and KAZe Net co-existed, with KAZe focused on developing console games [5] [6], but the latter has essentially succeeded the former. (KAZe is still listed as an affiliated company on the English KAZe Net site. [7])
KAZe had an office in Los Angeles, KAZe of America, operated by KAZe producer/production manager Emi Akimoto. [8] [9]
