Established in December 1979 as Jordan Information Service (ジョルダン情報サービス) [1] by current president and CEO Toshikazu Satou (佐藤俊和) [2], Jorudan (ジョルダン) (as it was rechristened in December 1989) [3] is a company involved with software development, digital content for the Web and mobile phones, the travel industry, and more. [4]

In February 1999, Jorudan established a development subsidiary called Nekogumi, which shut down in March 2001 (Nekogumi games will not be covered here). [5]

In 2007, Jorudan announced it would be returning to game development with Nintendo's DS and Wii. [6]

Forbes named Jorudan one of "Asia's 200 Best Under A Billion" in 2008. [7]

Is it possible Crazy Climber (AC) was actually coded by Jorudan (then Jordan)? If you enter your name as "JORDAN.LTD" on the Japanese or bootleg versions, you get two credits.
