Hect is short for "Hector playing interface." Its first development division broke free in 1992 and became Axes Art Amuse. Hect Development Division 1/Axes is behind a range of known Jaleco games (another lot of Jaleco games have been developed by [[TOSE]] or [[NMK]]). While Hect seems to have disappeared, Axes still exists, mainly doing mobile games and web services now.
