Hect is short for "Hector playing interface". Its first development division broke free in 1992 under the name Axes Art Amuse. Hect/Axes are behind a range of known Jaleco games (another lot of Jaleco games have been developed by [[Tose]] or [[NMK]]). While Hect seems to have disappeared, AAA still exists, mainly doing mobile games and web services now.
