Geo Factory Co., Ltd. (株式会社ジオファクトリー) was started in 1992 by Takaharu Mita (三田隆治) after leaving Genki, which he helped establish in 1990. He had previously worked at Zap and Quest as lead planner. The company worked on over 30 games. [1]

Mita sold the company to a venture capital firm in 1999, and retired as its director in 2001.
