G-Artists logo

G-Artists Inc. (株式会社ジーアーティスツ) was a Tokyo-based developer established February 1987 as Gen Creative House (株式会社ジェン・クリエイティブハウス). Switched primary business to game development in 1991, when it was renamed to G-Artists. Headed by Jiro Hasegawa (長谷川次郎).

As of June 2006 the studio is known as Epics, which was a subsidiary of WiZ from August 2006 until February 2009. It is unclear if Epics and G-Artists are the same company; an archived version of Epics' corporate history [1] says G-Artists was renamed, but the current corporate information says the company was established in June 1999 and makes no mention of a name change.
