Digital Whip Inc. (有限会社デジタルホイップ) was/is a software company founded in 1990 and based in Shinagawa, Tokyo [1], with a branch office in Shibuya. [2]

In 1998, Digital Whip entered into a development contract with Culture Publishers (which later became D3Publisher). Development was cancelled because of circumstances involving Digital Whip, which prompted a lawsuit. As part of the settlement, Digital Whip agreed to repay Culture Publishers ¥111,577,000 in compensation by 2012. [3] [4]
